New Role

The New Role page allows you to create a new role and assign permissions to that role.

To create a new role:

  1. In the Role Description entry field, enter a unique name for the role.
  2. Choose the user level that this permission is assigned to from the drop-down menu.
  3. Assign permissions to the role as required:

If your system is configured for assignable user roles and you have added a Create/Read/Update/Delete Users permission (or another similar user management permission like Create/Read/Update/Delete Home Location Users) to the role, you can further assign which specific user roles can be managed:
  5. Click the Save button to record the new role in the database.

    Note: To abandon the new role, click the Cancel button.
