The Edit Virtual Endorsement page displays the selected virtual endorsement string, broken up into the basic parts that make up the data. These parts can be fixed text (letter or numbers), and the contents of up to two database fields related to the deposit. Some database fields have formatting controls (for example, the deposit creation date allows you to specify the data format). All of the fields are optional, which means you can leave blank lines in the virtual endorsement.
This page also displays a sample endorsement line to show you approximately the result of the current contents of the input fields.
Note: As you enter text in the literal text fields or select dynamic data fields from the drop-down menus, the sample endorsement image at the top of the page updates to show what your selections would look like on an actual item. As you configure your endorsement string, continue to review this sample image and adjust accordingly to ensure it meets your requirements.
Note: You can include a reference to a stored additional property key value by selecting the Additional Property Key Value entry from the Field drop-down menu. The referenced additional property key value must be formatted with a prefix value specifying the owning object ID of the additional property key from the owningobjectid
column of the pcwobjproperty table (as either "Deposit." for additional property keys with an owningobjectid value beginning with "32", or "Item." (or the prefix can be omitted) for additional property keys with an owningobjectid value beginning with "5") followed by the exact name of the additional property key from the propertykey
column of the pcwobjproperty table you wish to reference (for example, "TellerNumber") in the text box to the right of the Field drop-down menu.
