Edit Report Preferences
The Edit Report Preferences page allows you to modify report contents and change the sort order of the columns for the reports assigned to the current customer. If you do not see a list of reports, there are no reports assigned to the current customer.
- Make any desired changes to the customer's report preferences, noting the following:
- To include a data column on the selected report, select the column name from the Available list, and click the Add >> button. This moves the column to the Assigned list and configures the report to include that data column.
- To remove a data column from the selected report, select the column name from the Assigned list, and click the << Remove button. This moves the column to the Available list and configures the report to omit that data column.
Tip: You can work with multiple columns simultaneously by pressing and holding the CTRL key while selecting column names to either omit or include those columns in the selected report.
- Avoid including too many data columns on a report as doing so may cause one or more of the columns to be truncated when the report is printed.
- The order of items in the Assigned list determines the order those data columns will appear on the report. The column appearing at the top of the Assigned list will be the first (left-most) column displayed on the selected report. To change the order of a column, select the column, and then use the Move Up or Move Down button to alter its position.
- To set the sort order for the report data, select the columns you wish to sort on from the Sort column drop-down menus (you can specify up to 3 columns to sort on) and select the corresponding Descending check boxes if you want any of the specified columns sorted in descending order.
- After completing your changes for a specific report, click the Apply button to save your changes to the current report before selecting another report from the Report drop-down menu and making further edits.
- When you have finished making your changes, click the Save button to save your changes and return to the Customer Preferences page.
