Edit Optional Fields Preferences
The Edit Optional Fields Preferences page shows the optional fields available for a customer. You can define which fields are displayed, and if those fields are required. You can also add label text for each optional field for each language that the system supports.
- Make any desired changes to the customer's optional field preferences, noting the following:
- To set an optional field so that it is visible to the selected customer's users, select the Displayed check box for the field.
- To hide an optional field so that it is not visible to the selected customer's users, clear the Displayed check box for the field.
- To require the selected customer's users to enter data for the optional field, select the Required check box for the field.
- Enter descriptive text (as appropriate to the languages supported in your configuration) in each of the language fields for any displayed field to make the purpose of the field clear to the selected customer's users.
- When you have finished making your changes, click the Save button to save your changes and return to the Customer Preferences page.
