Driver Download
The Driver Download page appears if:
- You are missing a driver required for capturing work.
- A driver is not running or not responding.
- Your driver is out of date.
If you are allowed to download and install drivers, you will see images of the supported scanners. Otherwise you see a message that provides you with contact information for support and assistance.
To correct this situation:
- Close your capture session.
- Choose Start > All Programs > eDeposit Web Client > Restart WebClient Driver.
- Restart your capture session.
- If capture runs normally, you are done with this procedure.
- If the download page reappears, continue with this procedure, presuming you are allowed to download drivers.
- Disconnect the scanner USB cable from the computer (and not from the scanner itself).
- Locate the picture that matches your scanner and then click the driver link beside it.
- On the file download page, make a note of the driver file name and destination and then save the driver to your hard drive.
- Open the download folder and then double-click the driver file to install it.
Follow the instructions to install the driver and then reconnect the USB cable.
- Restart your capture session.
