New Location
The New Location page allows you to add a business location to a customer, and assign accounts to that location.
To create a new location:
- Enter a location name and unique number to identify the location.
- If your system is configured to limit permissible capture sources by location and you wish to restrict this location to specific capture sources, select the appropriate Capture sources check boxes to identify all allowable capture sources from which deposits can be made for the current location.
- If your system is configured to use Long Term Paper Storage (LTPS) management, associate the new location with a defined LTPS facility by selecting the appropriate site from the LTPS list.
- If your system is configured to use location types, associate the new location with a defined location type by selecting the appropriate location type from the Location Type menu.
- If your system is configured to use location-based posting dates, select the appropriate time zone and region to use for the location.
- If your system is configured to allow posting date overrides and you wish to allow operators to override the current posting date when creating new deposits for this location, select the Allow posting date on deposit creation check box.
- Assign one or more accounts to the location:
- When you have finished making your changes, click the Save button to save your changes and return to the Location Search page, or click the Add User button to save your changes and navigate directly to the New User page.
