Edit Location

The Edit Location page details the location name and number information as well as which accounts are currently available (accounts appearing in the Selected Accounts list) and which accounts are not available (accounts appearing in the Available Accounts list) for the selected location.

To edit location information:

1. Make any desired changes to the customer's location information, noting the following:
   • To change the permissible capture sources for this location, select new Capture sources check boxes to identify all allowable capture sources from which deposits can be made for the current location.
   • To change the Long Term Paper Storage (LTPS) site associated with this location, select a new LTPS site from the LTPS list.
   • To change the location type associated with this location, select a new type from the Location Type menu.
   • To change the time zone information associated with this location, select a new time zone and region from the lists.
   • To allow operators to override the current posting date when creating new deposits for this location, select the Allow posting date on deposit creation check box.
   • To grant the location access to an account, select the account from the Available Accounts list, and click the Add >> button. This moves the account to the Selected Accounts list and makes the account available to the location.
   • To deny the location access to an account, select the account from the Selected Accounts list, and click the << Remove button. This moves the account to the Available Accounts list and removes the location's access to the account.

     Tip: You can work with multiple accounts simultaneously by pressing and holding the CTRL key while selecting accounts to either grant or deny location access.

2. When you have finished making your changes, click the Save button to save your changes and return to the Location Search page.
