Deposit List
The Deposit List page displays the current deposits for the selected location.
The number of deposits you can access depends on system volumes and configuration. The Deposit List normally contains deposits for the last seven working days, but you can change this from the List of Deposits pull-down menu.
Depending on your assigned permissions and system configuration, you may be able to perform the following actions:
- To display rejected deposits on the page, select the Include rejected deposits and items check box at the top of the List of Deposits. Once selected, all rejected deposits will be able to be identified by special character formatting (by default, bold red italics) and a Rejected value in the State column.
- To view details for a deposit, click the View (
) icon for the deposit you wish to view. - To view the summary information and list of deposit items for a selected deposit, click the Edit (
) icon for the deposit you wish to view. - To delete a deposit, click the Delete (
) icon for the deposit you want to delete.Note: If your system is configured to allow item and deposit rejection, you will be unable to delete a deposit that includes one or more rejected items.
- To reject a deposit, click the Reject (
) icon for the deposit you want to reject. When you reject a deposit, you will be prompted to select an appropriate rejection reason to explain your decision to reject this deposit.Note: If you reject a deposit, all items in the deposit will also be rejected.
- To view current status information, click the Refresh button.
- To exit the Deposit List, click the Return button.
- To view a deposit report for the deposits shown in the list, click the Report View button located below the Deposit List.
- To start a new deposit, click the Create New Deposit button, located on the right side of the page, below the Deposit List.
- To disapprove a deposit (note, you can only disapprove Open-Balanced deposits), select the deposit and then click the Disapprove button. The deposit state will change from Open-Balanced to Open-Disapproved, indicating that the deposit needs to be re-opened for additional processing (and then completed and returned to an Open-Balanced state) before being considered again for transmission.
- To approve a deposit (note, you can only approve Open-Balanced deposits), select the deposit and then click the Approve button. The deposit state will change from Open-Balanced to Open-Approved, indicating that the deposit is ready to be reviewed by another user before being transmitted.
- To transmit a deposit (or deposits), select one or more balanced deposits and then click the Transmit button. The status of these deposits displays "Transmitting" until transmission is complete. Once transmission is complete, the status displays "Received".
Note: If your system has been configured to use the delayed transmission feature, deposits will be placed into a temporary "Pending Transmission" state after you click the Transmit button instead of being transmitted directly. Deposits will remain in this temporary state for a configured amount of time (by default, 15 minutes) prior to actual transmission. During that time, you can change your decision to transmit a deposit, electing instead to revert the deposit to whichever open- processing state it was in prior to being "transmitted".
To revert a "Pending Transmission" deposit to whichever state (Open-Approved or Open-Balanced) it was in before you clicked Transmit, click the corresponding Cancel Transmission (
) icon in the Tasks column.
