Document Size Error
The Document Size Error page can be displayed after you attempt to change the classification of an item to a new classification that has been configured with minimum and maximum height and width requirements that are not met by the item you are attempting to reclassify (for example, if the item is not wide or tall enough, too wide or too tall, or has some combination of width and height issues).
- Review the available information for the item (including the classification assigned to the item shown in the message at the top of the page, the document size details information listing the current document size information as well as the defined minimum and maximum dimensions for items with this assigned classification, and the image of the item with overlays showing the required minimum (shown as a blue dashed outline) and maximum (shown as a red dotted outline) document dimensions) to determine what corrective action to take:
- You may decide that the classification assigned to the item is not correct (Reclassify the item after returning to the Edit Item pop-up.)
- You may decide that the (correctly classified) item does not meet the configured size requirements and should not be included in the deposit. (Click the Delete button after returning to the Edit Item pop-up.)
- You may decide to keep the current item even though it does not meet the configured size requirements and your system is configured to allow you to override the error. (Click the Override Document Size check box after returning to the Edit Item pop-up.)
- Once you determine the proper action to take, click the Return to Edit Item button to return to the Edit Item pop-up to carry out your decision.
