New Location Type
The New Location Type page allows you to create a new location type. Once created, location types can be associated with specific locations to designate supplemental deposit processing activities (for example, automatic deposit completion and deposit transmission) be performed at those locations.
To create a new location type:
- Enter a unique name for the location type in the Description field.
The name you enter will be used to identify the location type in the administrative pages used to assign location types to locations.
- Set the timed deposit processing settings for the location type:
- Select the Enable automatic completion of deposits check box to have all eligible open-state deposits completed automatically at locations to which this location type is assigned when the configured automatic deposit completion and transmission time for each of a location's configured time zones occurs.
- Select the Enable automatic transmission of completed deposits check box to have all eligible completed deposits transmitted automatically at locations to which this location type is assigned when the configured automatic deposit completion and transmission time for each of a location's configured time zones occurs.
- Once you have finished creating the new location type, click Save to save your changes and return to the Location Types page.
