The Deposit Item List page displays general deposit information, as well as specific information about each item in the deposit. From this page, you can monitor deposit information as you capture items and, as necessary, make any required changes to individual deposit items or the deposit details to complete the deposit. Once completed, the deposit is sent to your bank for further processing.
The page displays information about your current deposit in three main areas of the page (the Deposit summary, the Transactions list, and the Transaction Details list.
The Deposit summary shows the status of the deposit, and details about the number of transactions, deposit items, errors, deposit credit totals, debit totals, and the balancing difference. The summary includes the following fields:

Description |
---|---|
Status |
The current processing state of the deposit (for example, Open-Processing or Open-Incomplete). |
Transactions |

If the Credit Total ($) matches the Debit Total ($), the Balance ($) will be 0 and green, indicating the deposit is balanced. If the Credit Total ($) does not match the Debit Total ($), the Balance ($) will be red, indicating the deposit is not balanced. If the value is contained in brackets, the total value of credit items in the deposit is less than the total value of the debit items in the deposit. If the value is not in brackets, the total value of credit items in the deposit is greater than the total value of the debit items in the deposit. |

After scanning all deposit items, depending on how the bank has configured the application, the actual steps you must perform to complete (finish) the deposit will vary, and could include:
Once all required changes have been made, the Complete button will become available to indicate that the deposit is ready and can be sent to your bank for further processing.
While completing your deposit (and depending on your assigned user role and associated permissions), you can perform the following actions from this page:
Note: If you reject all transactions in a deposit, the deposit itself will also be rejected.
If an item is in the wrong place (for example, items were scanned out of order), you can use the mouse to drag that item to a new location either within the Transactions list (if you want to move the item to another location in the same transaction) or the Transaction Details list (if you want to move the item to another transaction).
Once scanned and identified as a valid batch header for the deposit, the batch header will appear at the top of the Transactions list as a separate transaction item associated with the deposit-level item total (and no other items can be dragged into the batch header transaction).
You can move an item within a transaction by dragging and dropping the item in the desired position. This applies to completed transactions in the current deposit, but not to a current (Open-Incomplete) transaction:
You can also drag an item from the Transaction Details list and drop it on a different transaction in the Transactions list:
