Alert Details
The Alert Details page allows you to review the details for a selected alert and make a decision about what caused the alert.
The page is divided into three sections:
- Alert Summary – This section, at the top of the page, repeats the summary information from the Alerts page for the selected alert and, where applicable, shows the actual value of the item or deposit that caused the alert to be generated as well as the configured threshold value or deposit limit against which that particular item or deposit was compared.
- If you want to review the most recent alerts for the customer to which the current alert is related, you can click the Recent Customer Alerts link to display a pop-up showing up to the 10 most recent alerts for the selected customer.
- Deposit Details – This section, in the middle of the page, lists the deposit or deposits related to the alert (where available) when the alert was generated because of an exceeded deposit limit or deposit threshold.
- To view details of a deposit, click the table row of the deposit.
- Alert Decision – This section, at the bottom of the page, displays the history information associated with the alert (which lists any users that have viewed, commented, or made a decision about the alert) and allows you to change the alert status and record a decision about the alert. To make an alert decision:
- Select the alert status you wish to assign to the alert:
- Open - Viewed – Leave the alert status as open.
- Closed - Disregard – Change the alert status to closed, marking the alert as not warranting further analysis.
- Closed - Adjust profile – Change the alert status to closed, marking the alert as possibly requiring profile, tier, or specific limit and threshold override adjustments.
- Closed - Possible fraud – Change the alert status to closed, making the alert as possibly being a fraudulent transaction.
- Enter a description in the Comment field to describe your review of the alert and the reason for your alert decision.
- Click the Save button to save your changes to the alert and return to the Alerts page, or click the Save and Next button to save your changes and proceed to the next alert from your query. To discard your changes, click the Cancel button.
