Edit Deposit Profile

The Edit Deposit Profile page allows you to change the current deposit profile information for the selected customer, including the profile, tier, and risk category assigned to the selected customer, and the deposit limits and thresholds that will be applied to the customer.

To edit a customer's deposit profile:

  1. Change the profile you want to assign to this customer by selecting a new profile from the Profile drop-down menu.
  2. Change the tier you want to assign to this customer by selecting a new tier from the Tier drop-down menu.
  3. Change the risk category you want to assign to this customer by selecting a new category from the Risk Category drop-down menu. The assigned risk category can be used to restrict reporting and alert message queries to customers assigned to a particular category.
  4. Make any overrides to the default tier limit and threshold values as appropriate for this customer, using the following guidelines:
    1. Modify the Single Deposit and Item Limits you want applied to the current customer, using the following guidelines:
      • Deposit amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value you want to permit for a single deposit. This value can not exceed the Daily amount ($) value.
      • Item amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value you want to permit for a single item within a deposit. This value can not exceed the Deposit amount ($) value.
      • Approved item amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value you want to permit for a single item within a deposit before the deposit must be transmitted by another user. If an item is over this limit, the deposit creator will not be allowed to transmit the deposit. This value can not exceed the Deposit amount ($) or Item amount ($) values.
      • Item count – Enter the maximum number of items you want to permit in a single deposit.

Note: If your system is configured to allow deposit limits by capture source, the Single Deposit and Item Limits section of the page will include an additional Capture Sources drop-down menu. The new menu contains entries for all configured capture sources identified when the feature was enabled as well as a generic entry (which will be used when the originating capture source does not match one of the configured capture sources). Selecting one of the entries from the menu allows you to set specific Deposit amount ($), Item amount ($), and Item count overrides for each configured capture source. These separate limits allow you to restrict the amounts and counts users are permitted when making deposits from selected capture sources.

    2. Modify the Deposit Limits Per User you want applied to the current customer, using the following guidelines:
      • Daily amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value of all deposits you want to permit a user to transmit daily. This value can not exceed the Weekly amount ($) value.
      • Daily count – Enter the maximum number of deposits you want to permit a user to transmit daily. This value can not exceed the Weekly count value.
      • Weekly amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value of all deposits you want to permit a user to transmit weekly. This value can not exceed the Monthly amount ($) value.
      • Weekly count – Enter the maximum number of deposits you want to permit a user to transmit weekly. This value can not exceed the Monthly count value.
      • Monthly amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value of all deposits you want to permit a user to transmit monthly.
      • Monthly count – Enter the maximum number of deposits you want to permit a user to transmit monthly.
    3. Modify the Item Exception Thresholds you want applied to the current customer, using the following guidelines:
      • When available, values displayed in the Actual (Last Month) column show the actual totals from the previous month for the current customer. Values in red indicate that the actual totals from the previous month exceed the current override value (when present) or the selected tier threshold.
      • CAR/LAR low confidence rate (%) – Enter the maximum percentage (as a value between 1 and 100) of processed items that require an operator to verify the entered amount to allow before generating an alert.
      • CAR/LAR zero confidence rate (%) – Enter the maximum percentage of processed items that require an operator to enter an amount to allow before generating an alert.
      • IQA failure rate (%) – Enter the maximum percentage of processed items with Image Quality Assessment (IQA) errors to allow before generating an alert.
      • MICR failure rate (%) – Enter the maximum percentage of processed items with MICR errors to allow before generating an alert.
      • Item edits (%) – Enter the maximum percentage of user actions performed on processed items (including any user overrides, confirmation or changes to the item amount, changes to field data (fields 1-10), and any item reclassifications) to allow before generating an alert.
      • Duplicate item rate (%) – Enter the maximum percentage of processed items flagged as duplicates to allow before generating an alert.
    4. Modify the Deposit Thresholds you want applied to the current customer, using the following guidelines:
      • When available, values displayed in the Actual (Last Month) column show the averages from the previous month for the current customer. Values in red indicate that the averages from the previous month exceed the current override value (when present) or the selected tier threshold.
      • Daily amount ($) – Enter the maximum dollar value of all daily transmitted customer deposits to allow before generating an alert. This value can not exceed the Weekly amount ($) deposit threshold value.
